Engineering and performance
ENGINE
The most powerful V12 front-engined supercar in Aston Martin history. The 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged engine at the heart of Valen produces 850PS and 1,000Nm of torque, purpose-built for immediacy and response. Engineered to deliver a pure sensation of road driving.
LIGHTNESS AND CHASSIS
Valen offers a weight advantage of up to 110 kg compared to the current V12 platform. The extensive use of motorsport-inspired lightweight materials such as carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and magnesium creates sharper responses, improved agility and a stronger connection with the driver.
SUSPENSION AND DYNAMICS
Valen-specific springs, Bilstein DTX semi-active shock absorbers and a rigid-link rear subframe take the car's dynamic character to a new level. Special steering and chassis calibrations reduce body movement while providing greater precision, control and agility in directional changes.
EXTERIOR
Power in form. With its all-carbon fiber body, deeply recessed slim headlights, sharp front splitter and muscular rear, the Valen takes Aston Martin’s front-engined design philosophy to a much more radical level. Functional air ducts, vortex generators in the side skirts and aerodynamic rear design create a powerful silhouette where every surface is shaped for performance.
Interior
DESIGN
Valen's interior is designed with a simple and focused architecture that reflects the overall lightness of the car. The slim center console, utilizing 3D-printed components, and the control area angled towards the driver, create a sportier cockpit layout that strengthens the connection between the driver and the car.
STEERING WHEEL
The newly developed Sports Plus seats combine powerful support with long-distance comfort. Lightweight carbon fiber seats, offered for a more performance-oriented driving experience, continue Valen's weight-reduction approach inside the cabin as well.
HALF CAGE
Semi-aniline leather and Alcantara options are complemented by various color, upholstery, and material combinations. Thanks to new quilting applications, anodized details, and Q by Aston Martin options, Valen's interior offers a wide range of personalization possibilities.
