The New Creation from the Aston Martin and Brough Superior Collaboration: AMB 002 Roadster

Aston Martin and Brough Superior Introduce the AMB 002 Roadster
The AMB 002 is the first road-legal motorcycle created through the collaboration between Aston Martin and Brough Superior.

Following the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, introduced in 2019 and 2022 respectively, the AMB 002 takes the partnership between the two iconic performance brands to an even higher level.

The all-new AMB 002 Roadster combines design, innovation, craftsmanship and exclusivity, appealing to discerning motorcycle enthusiasts and automotive collectors alike.

Production of the model will be strictly limited to just 300 units, with first deliveries planned to begin in the third quarter of 2027.

9 September 2026, Gaydon: Aston Martin and Brough Superior proudly introduce the AMB 002 Roadster, the first road-going motorcycle born from the ongoing collaboration between the two distinguished British performance brands. The model follows the track-focused AMB 001, introduced in 2019, and AMB 001 Pro, introduced in 2022.

The all-new AMB 002 Roadster continues the exceptional approach to motorcycle design and engineering shared by Aston Martin and Brough Superior. Developed around a lightweight construction and sharp riding character, the motorcycle has been engineered to deliver maximum enjoyment on the road.

A Two-Wheeled Interpretation of Aston Martin Design
Reflecting the pure and uncompromising essence of a rider-focused sports motorcycle, the AMB 002 features flowing lines, compact proportions and precisely sculpted carbon-fibre bodywork, creating a powerful and dynamic visual presence.

The forward-leaning, kinetic character of the design highlights the motorcycle’s dynamic stance while also offering glimpses of its mechanical beauty. Together, these details make the AMB 002 a distinctive expression of the Aston Martin and Brough Superior collaboration.

The signature of the Aston Martin Design Studio is evident in every curve and detail of the AMB 002. The smooth, sculptural forms of the carbon-fibre fuel tank and side fairings rise towards the rider, allowing them to tuck closely into the motorcycle in an aerodynamic riding position.

Crescent-shaped air channels positioned within the side sections contribute to engine cooling while optimising airflow. Wire-inspired mirror mounts emphasise the motorcycle’s lightweight construction and complete its minimalist engineering philosophy.

Details Inspired by Aston Martin’s Automotive DNA
The AMB 002 also incorporates numerous design elements inspired by Aston Martin’s four-wheeled models.

The iconic side-strake design has been reinterpreted to run through the side fairing and extend forward around the headlight. Finned heat deflectors positioned above the twin oval exhausts echo the exhaust design language of the Vanquish, DB12 S and DBX S.

At the rear, the dramatic light blades draw on the same visual character as the lighting technology featured in the rear designs of the Aston Martin Vulcan, Valkyrie and Valhalla hypercars.

Keyless start functionality, an illuminated start button and hand-crafted leather seat pads bring the same sense of luxury and craftsmanship found in Aston Martin’s production road cars to the motorcycle.

“Our Dream of Seeing an Aston Martin Motorcycle on the Road Has Become a Reality”
Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, said of the AMB 002 Roadster:

“Having created two of the most extraordinary track motorcycles ever produced with the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, producing an Aston Martin motorcycle that could be ridden on the road has long been a dream of ours. Bringing together the bold design language and pioneering engineering innovation that have defined the work of Aston Martin and Brough Superior to date, the AMB 002 is a vivid expression of our shared passion for sculptural, sensual and desirable machines. Offering a unique ownership and riding experience within the world of motorcycling, we believe the AMB 002 will be an irresistible road motorcycle for both experienced riders and discerning collectors.”

Handcrafted and Limited to Just 300 Units
Exceptional design, exclusive materials, specialised manufacturing techniques and hand craftsmanship are fundamental characteristics of Aston Martin and Brough Superior motorcycles.

As such high production standards are not compatible with mass production, the AMB 002, like the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, will be strictly limited to just 300 units. Each motorcycle will be individually handcrafted.

Thierry Henriette, President of Brough Superior Motorcycles SAS, commented on the AMB 002 Roadster:

“This motorcycle is truly unique, both in terms of its design and the riding experience it delivers. Visually as well as dynamically striking, this sharp roadster offers an exhilarating experience, giving the rider the feeling of becoming one with a lightweight and precise blade. Combined with the performance delivered by our all-new and more powerful engine, the upright riding position and completely unobstructed view provide a unique sensation of gliding along the road, with absolute confidence and complete control.”

Developed from the Ground Up
As the first road-focused motorcycle created through the collaboration, the AMB 002 Roadster represents a showcase of bespoke and advanced engineering.

The motorcycle is the result of a dedicated development process, designed and engineered entirely from the ground up without carrying over components from the previous models, reflecting an uncompromising approach to engineering.

At its heart is an all-new 1,083 cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled V-Twin engine producing 130 bhp and 110 Nm of torque.

Tuned to deliver strong torque at low and mid-range engine speeds, the power unit develops a smooth and exhilarating character at higher revs. The result is a combination of precise responses, riding enjoyment and accessible high performance.

Engineering Inspired by Aerospace Technology
The AMB 002’s engine is designed, machined and assembled in-house at Brough Superior’s headquarters in Toulouse, France.

The engine block is CNC-machined from a solid metal billet to reduce weight and enhance structural efficiency. This highlights Brough Superior’s expertise in precision manufacturing processes and material utilisation, inspired by the aerospace industry.

The new V-Twin engine is housed within an exceptional titanium chassis. Machined from a single piece of metal, the chassis forms the structural backbone of the motorcycle and stands as one of the most distinctive elements of Brough Superior’s unique backbone architecture.

Weighing just 5 kg, the chassis is exceptionally light compared with conventional designs and plays a key role in achieving the AMB 002’s ideal 50:50 weight distribution.

Together with the carbon-fibre body panels and fuel tank, the exceptionally low centre of gravity helps centralise the motorcycle’s mass. Weighing just 190 kg, the AMB 002 combines strong low- and mid-range torque with a lightweight and agile character.

Fior Front Suspension System
The AMB 002 also features Brough Superior’s distinctive double-wishbone “Fior fork” front suspension system, one of the brand’s signature engineering solutions.

By eliminating some of the design compromises associated with conventional telescopic forks, the Fior system separates steering and braking forces while allowing precise control over the front-end geometry.

An evolved version of the system developed for the AMB 001 Pro, the AMB 002’s Fior system delivers exceptional steering precision and agility through high-speed corners, while providing the rider with confidence-inspiring stability.

Thanks to the Fior system’s anti-dive characteristic, high levels of stability are also maintained under braking. This advantage is particularly evident when braking while the motorcycle is leaned over in a corner.

Stefano Saporetti, Aston Martin Director of Brand Diversification, commented on the development of the collaboration:

“What began as an ambitious partnership between two distinguished British brands has evolved into a powerful collaboration in the co-creation of luxury. From our first limited-production model to today’s product portfolio, the commercial journey demonstrates that Aston Martin’s design language can extend far beyond four wheels. Combined with Brough Superior’s unique engineering approach, the result is a successful collaboration model that strengthens the value of the brand over the long term.”
