Aston Martin Experiences a First in F1 History: 2nd Consecutive Podium Victory with 3rd Place with Alonso!

Aston Martin Cognizant F1 team, which achieved successful results on Friday and Saturday laps in the 2nd of the Formula 1 races held at the Saudi Arabian Jeddah Circuit, closed on the podium with 3rd place on Sunday. The team, which started the season assertively with the arrival of the legendary driver Fernando Alonso and strong vehicle developments, experienced the first podium victory in its history for the second time in a row. In this victory, which is also the 100th podium of Alonso's career, the Aston Martin team experienced double enthusiasm.

Another driver, Lance Stroll, who started the week with successful laps, was unable to complete the race due to some technical problems and had to leave early. Despite the accident he experienced 3 weeks before the start of the season, his recovery process and his determined performance were highly appreciated by Lance Stroll. The team believes that Stroll will achieve good results in the upcoming races, just like Fernando Alonso, with his strong car and his determination to succeed.

Fernando Alonso took third place at the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after Aston Martin requested the Right of Review Sunday night.

Fernando Alonso, after receiving a 5-second penalty penalty due to a mistake at the start of the race, increased the penalty to 10 seconds after the podium ceremony and promoted George Russell to 3rd place due to the fact that the 5-second penalty penalty was not met properly after the investigations of the FIA officials, but this decision was reversed after the team's objection was justified. 3rd place was again given to Fernando Alonso.

Formula 1's next race will take place in Australia from 31 March to 2 April.
